Would book again on price
our youngest were happy, which is most of the review.
Blackout blinds would make a difference in December, when it is bright by half past six.

Would stay again at that price
Clean bathroom, fresh towels daily, nothing to complain about. Parking is available and reasonably priced for the area. There is a coffee machine in the room, which saved me a few euros a day.
The bathroom is clean but the fittings belong to a previous decade.

Galle Fort done properly
Twenty-four hour reception meant a two a.m. arrival was a non-event. In at eleven at night, out at six, and everything worked. That is all I need.

Would recommend with one caveat
The kids club actually did things rather than parking them in front of a screen, so we got two mornings to ourselves. Check-in was quick and human, and they remembered our names for the rest of the stay.

Breakfast is an extra, and worth it for proper pastries alone. Check-in was straightforward and the desk answered questions properly.
A bottle of water in the room costs what a bottle of wine costs on the corner.

Fine, but not at that price
Mixed feelings about this one. Efficient and predictable, which is what a two-night work trip needs.
It is uphill from the metro, which you feel with my rucksack in the heat.
