Deeply disappointing
The building is beautiful from the outside.
Housekeeping did not come at all in two nights and we asked for towels twice. The bed linen was stained. We asked for it to be changed and waited until nearly eleven that night. Service ranged from warm to indifferent depending on who was working.

Good location, average room
Practical base near the offices, and the checkout was quick at seven in the morning.
The bathroom is clean but the fittings belong to a previous decade. Roadworks on the corner from half past six on the Friday, and nobody had warned me.

Clean and quiet, close to everything
The concierge booked the museum slots we had failed to get online. Four of us across two rooms on the same corridor, which they arranged without being asked. The Family Room is bigger than the photographs suggest and cleverly laid out.
The lift is slow enough that we walked down from the sixth floor most days.

Adequate and well placed
The Family Room is well organised and everything has somewhere to go. Practical base near the offices, and the checkout was quick at seven in the morning.
The last two hundred metres are steep and cobbled - not a problem, just plan for it. The keycards demagnetised twice and I had to go back down to the desk.

Good bones, tired edges
Andrei at the desk was the standout - patient and genuinely useful. The shuttle runs on the hour and drops you right at the terminal.
The walk back from Jantar Mantar is all uphill, which I had not thought about.

Location carries it
Ayşe at the desk was the standout - patient and genuinely useful. Quiet from about ten at night, once the bar downstairs empties out. Easy place to be a group without annoying anyone.
The bathroom light is on a motion sensor and comes on if you turn over in bed.
