Strong on location and staff
We upgraded to the Family Room and would do it again without thinking. The bar pours a decent negroni and does not empty at nine. Housekeeping were quietly excellent and clearly took pride in the rooms.
Checkout is ten and a late one costs about as much as another night's breakfast.

Good bones, tired edges
Efficient and predictable, which is what a two-night work trip needs.
We were reminded about the half past nine checkout twice on the Sunday, which felt unnecessary.

Really rather good
There is a bakery two doors down that opens at six, which I discovered by accident on the first morning. I arrived hours early and they took the suitcases without a fuss, then messaged when the room was ready. In at eleven at night, out at six, and everything worked. That is all I need.
The shower takes a good minute to warm up, which adds up over five days.

Booked late and got lucky. Slept better than at home, which after four flights in a week is saying something.

Several things went wrong
The shower at least was hot.
The wall to the corridor carries every conversation, and there was one at ten on the Saturday. There is a bar on the corner that empties out noisily on a Thursday night.

Needs a proper refurbishment
Pleasant bar for a nightcap, and they do not rush you out of it. The location is genuinely good, which is most of why I stuck it out.
Dust on the top of the wardrobe and behind the door, which I noticed on the last day. Building work started at seven each morning and nobody had warned me at booking.
