8.4Very happy indeed
Cheaper than the chain hotels two streets over and considerably nicer. For Budapest, this is a properly central spot without the coach parties. Room service arrived in fifteen minutes at half past ten, which is why I book here.
Nothing that would stop us booking again tomorrow.

Housekeeping were quietly excellent and clearly took pride in the rooms. Half board with a children's sitting at six meant we ate dinner in peace afterwards.

Twenty minutes to the conference centre, laundry back same day, invoice correct first time. Lift straight from the street to the floor, so the cases were never a problem.
Nobody was on the desk for about fifteen minutes when I arrived on the Sunday.

9.6Faultless from start to finish
Iron that heats up, a mirror you can knot a tie in, and enough sockets by the bed. The bed was the surprise: firm, wide and made up with linen that actually felt like linen. We spent both evenings in the bar downstairs and never felt hurried out of it.
The shower head is fixed high on the wall and cannot be angled.

9.3Would book again tomorrow
The bathroom is bigger than the one at home, with a rain shower and a bench to put things on. Astonishingly quiet for somewhere this central - we never heard the street once. Housekeeping were quietly excellent and clearly took pride in the rooms.
The shower takes a good minute to warm up, which adds up over four days.

Booked this on a whim and glad we did. our son were in the pool from nine until they were dragged out, and the shallow end is properly shallow.
