Practical rather than charming
Worked well for a group of us, with somewhere to sit together in the evening.
Dust on the top of the wardrobe and behind the door, which we noticed on the first day.

Worth it for Rathmines
Breakfast is an extra, and worth it for a cheese and ham plate alone. You get more for the money here than at the two places we priced up in Rathmines.
No kettle in the room, which for a British guest is practically a design flaw.

Comfortable enough for three nights
Practical base near the offices, and the checkout was quick at seven in the morning. The terrace is a good place to sit with a book in the late afternoon.
There is construction across the street that starts at eight, so bring earplugs.

Stayed three nights, wanted five
Borrowed the bikes on the first morning and barely used public transport after that. Twenty minutes to the conference centre, laundry back same day, invoice correct first time.
The car park is a three-minute walk and costs more per night than I expected.

Small room, great location
Somebody has thought about the tiling, and it shows in a way photographs do not capture. Dimitri at the concierge desk got us a table at a place that had told us it was fully booked.
The curtains do not quite meet in the middle, so you are up with the light.

Decent, with reservations
Efficient and predictable, which is what a two-night work trip needs. There is a lift, which I was glad of on the way up with my rucksack.
A second bedside lamp and a couple more sockets would finish the room off.
