6.4Better in the photos
The owners are kind and the breakfast is homemade, which counts for a lot.
Shower pressure drops off when the floor is busy at about half past seven. The front door is locked at nine and you have to ask for a key.

7.3Some good, some frustrating
Two nights, and two would have been plenty. Samir at the desk was the standout - patient and genuinely useful. You get more for the money here than at the two places we priced up in Østerbro. Quiet from about ten at night, once the bar downstairs empties out.
Towels are changed only on request, which is sensible but was not explained. There is construction across the street that starts at half past six, so bring earplugs.

6.8Wanted to like it more
Two nights, and two would have been plenty. Plenty of places to eat within a short walk, most of them reasonably priced. The terrace is a good place to sit with a book in the late afternoon. The front door code worked every time, which sounds like a low bar until you have stayed somewhere it did not. There is a coffee machine in the room, which saved us a few euros a day.
Bin lorry at about half past seven on the Wednesday, and we heard every bottle. The city tax and the cleaning fee together came as a surprise at checkout.

8.7Comfortable and well placed
The garden at the back is where we spent every evening with a bottle of something local. The view from the balcony is not a marketing photograph - it is genuinely that. Good toiletries in refillable bottles, and towels changed without being asked twice.
It is a good eight minutes from the nearest tram stop, further than the listing suggests.

9.4As good as Copenhagen gets
Somebody has thought about the tiling, and it shows in a way photographs do not capture. Not a mark anywhere, and the room smelled of nothing at all, which is exactly right.

6.8Would think twice
They keep a pillow menu at reception and actually bring what you ask for. Quiet from about ten at night, once the bar downstairs empties out. Clean bathroom, fresh towels daily, nothing to complain about.
Wasps around the breakfast tables in July, which is hardly their fault.
