Would recommend with one caveat
The garden at the back is where we spent every evening with a bottle of something local.
Coffee at breakfast comes from a machine rather than the bar downstairs, which is a shame.

Small room, great location
The garden at the back is where I spent every evening with a bottle of something local.
Nobody was on the desk for about forty minutes when I arrived on the Thursday. It is a good twenty-five minutes from the nearest tram stop, further than the listing suggests.

Tired and overpriced
Two nights, and two would have been plenty. Lovely for a couple of nights away, quiet and personal. Breakfast is an extra, and worth it for eggs done to order alone.
We were reminded about the half past nine checkout twice on the Wednesday, which felt unnecessary.

Good spread at breakfast and they keep the coffee coming. The Twin Room is well organised and everything has somewhere to go.
Blackout blinds would make a difference in August, when it is bright by seven.

The address is the best thing about it
The owners are kind and the breakfast is homemade, which counts for a lot. Parking is available and reasonably priced for the area.
You hear the door of the room next to you every time it shuts. Blackout blinds would make a difference in August, when it is bright by eight.

The staff pointed us to a rooftop bar round the corner and it became our regular. Homemade cake at four in the afternoon, whether or not you asked for it. Worth every penny, and we do not say that often.
Checkout is nine and a late one costs about as much as another night's breakfast.
