Worth it for Beverly Hills
The owners are kind and the breakfast is homemade, which counts for a lot. The view over the rooftops from the balcony is a proper one.
The furniture is dated and the corridors could do with a repaint.

Easy stay, no dramas
The kind of place you book for two nights and immediately regret not booking for four.
Street parking is free after half past ten and impossible before it. No kettle in the room, which for a British guest is practically a design flaw.

Right for a short stay
Not fancy, but that was never the point. Clean and tidy throughout the stay. The owners are kind and the breakfast is homemade, which counts for a lot.
There is a bar on the corner that empties out noisily on a Friday night.

Passable, at a push
There is a coffee machine in the room, which saved us a few euros a day. Two bus routes and a tram stop within a few minutes, so we got around easily.
No full-length mirror anywhere in the Family Suite. five floors and no lift - the Family Suite is lovely once you get up there with my rucksack.

Somewhere between fine and not
Two nights, and two would have been plenty. The owners are kind and the breakfast is homemade, which counts for a lot. Clean bathroom, fresh towels daily, nothing to complain about.
The grouting in the bathroom is tired and no amount of cleaning will fix it now.
