Half worked, half didn't
Charming small hotel, and the tiling lifts it above the usual. They keep a jar of sweets by the lift that nobody admits to eating from.
The furniture is dated and the corridors could do with a repaint. The keycards demagnetised twice and we had to go back down to the desk.

Ruined two days of Stockholm
It is quiet during the day, if that is any use to anyone.
The bed linen was stained. We asked for it to be changed and waited until nearly eleven that night. There was a leak from the ceiling in the bathroom that we reported twice and nothing was done. The fridge in the Double Room with Garden View had somebody else's food in it.

Deeply disappointing
The building is beautiful from the outside.
This is the first bad review I have written in years. The heating did not come on for the whole stay and it was July. The Family Suite had not been cleaned properly: hair in the shower tray and dust along every skirting board.

A find
The garden at the back is where I spent every evening with a bottle of something local. Double glazing that works, so the tram going past is a rumour rather than an event. The bathroom is bigger than the one at home, with a rain shower and a bench to put things on.
Nothing at all, and we looked.

A bad three nights
The morning coffee was fine, which is a thin thing to end on.
The photographs show a refurbished room. Ours was not one of them, and the carpet was visibly worn through. The heating did not come on for the whole stay and it was May.

Charming and spotless
Elke sat with us over a map on the first evening and half our trip came out of that conversation. Breakfast is worth getting up for: proper pastries, the morning coffee made to order and fruit that tasted of something.
We had to be out by half past nine on the last day, and that is genuinely the worst of it.
