Would book again tomorrow
Fast, stable wifi in the room rather than only in the lobby, which is rarer than it should be. The garden at the back is where we spent every evening with a bottle of something local. The roof terrace at sunset is the reason to book this place - we went up every night. The front door code worked every time, which sounds like a low bar until you have stayed somewhere it did not.
The bathroom light is on a motion sensor and comes on if you turn over in bed.

Tired and overpriced
The owners are kind and the breakfast is homemade, which counts for a lot. The terrace is a good place to sit with a book in the late afternoon.
Checkout is ten and a late one costs about as much as another night's breakfast. The connection slowed to nothing each evening from about half past ten, when the place fills up.

Strong on location and staff
They lent us an umbrella on the wet Tuesday and did not ask for it back until we left. Sat on the terrace with a glass of wine watching the light go off the rooftops. That is the memory.
Street parking is free after ten and impossible before it.

Best breakfast of the trip
Our taxi driver could not find the entrance and drove past it twice, so save the map pin. One of very few places in Nungwi that takes dogs without a surcharge the size of a night's stay.
Only that we had to leave.

Some good, some frustrating
Clean bathroom, fresh towels daily, nothing to complain about. Connection was good enough to work from for a morning. Check-in was straightforward and the desk answered questions properly.

Would book again on price
The Double Room with Garden View is well organised and everything has somewhere to go. The owners are kind and the breakfast is homemade, which counts for a lot. My flight landed at one in the morning and the man on the desk still made me a tea. Reception were helpful when I needed a doctor's address, which I appreciated.
For the money I expected a little more attention to detail.
