Pleasant few nights
Two nights in and we were sleeping through until eight, which never happens for us. The front door code worked every time, which sounds like a low bar until you have stayed somewhere it did not. Records in the room, a proper armchair and the flat whites that would hold up in any city.
We could not find anything to complain about.

Two nights was enough
Some of this worked, some of it did not. Good for a few nights alone - I was left to get on with it. Breakfast is an extra, and worth it for proper pastries alone. Two bus routes and a tram stop within a few minutes, so I got around easily. Bag storage on the last day was useful.
The buffet gets picked over if you arrive after half past nine.

Mixed, mostly good
Came for two nights, stayed four. Charming small hotel, and the art on the walls lifts it above the usual. The stairs creak in a way that is either charming or annoying depending on how tired you are.
The shower door leaks a little onto the bathroom floor.

Small room, great location
Right, so. Housekeeping were quietly excellent and clearly took pride in the rooms. Four of us across two rooms on the same corridor, which they arranged without being asked.
Mosquitoes in the evening once the doors are open - the shop on the corner sells the plug-ins.

Faultless from start to finish
We forgot it was a public holiday and they sorted us a table anyway. Housekeeping were quietly excellent and clearly took pride in the rooms. The staff pointed us to a jazz cellar round the corner and it became our regular.
Nothing that would stop us booking again tomorrow.

Would come back tomorrow. Lovely for a couple of nights away, quiet and personal.
Pillows are enormous and there is no alternative on offer.
