8.3Pleasant but noisy at night
Plenty of places to eat within a short walk, most of them reasonably priced. The lift has one of those inner doors you have to pull shut, which the children opposite treated as the highlight of their week.
Wifi does not reach the terrace, which is where you actually want to sit.

A proper coffee machine in the room, not sachets of dust. They lent us an umbrella on the wet Tuesday and did not ask for it back until we left. Plenty of storage in the Suite, which sounds dull until you have unpacked for a fortnight.

5.7One to avoid at this price
Mixed feelings about this one. A desk of a usable size, a proper chair and sockets where you need them - wifi was quick enough for email, maps and an evening of streaming.
Service ranged from warm to indifferent depending on who was working. The sofa bed in the Cosy Room is not somewhere you would want a second week.

10.0Faultless from start to finish
Late nights out and nobody once tutted at us coming in at three. The bathroom is bigger than the one at home, with a rain shower and a bench to put things on. Spotless, including the places nobody checks - skirting boards, the kettle, under the bed.
The shower takes a good minute to warm up, which adds up over five days.

Booked this on a whim and glad we did. Twenty minutes to the conference centre, laundry back same day, invoice correct first time.
