Strong on location and staff
Right, so. Washer and a drying rack, so I travelled home with a clean bag. Somebody had left a shelf of paperbacks by the window and I got through two of them.

Passable, at a push
Quiet from about ten at night, once the bar downstairs empties out. Clean bed linen, clean towels, clean floors. That is the main thing. Practical base near the offices, and the checkout was quick at seven in the morning. Clean bathroom, fresh towels daily, nothing to complain about.
Bring a fan or book a lower floor: the sixth floor holds the August heat well into the night.

Needs some attention
Reasonably peaceful at the back of the building. our youngest were happy, which is most of the review. Bag storage on the last day was useful.
Getting a taxi to find the entrance took some explaining. No kettle in the room, which for a British guest is practically a design flaw.

Location good, room less so
You get more for the money here than at the two places I priced up in Kandal Village. The desk is staffed at night, which mattered for my late arrival. Comfortable bed, and they brought firmer pillows within ten minutes of asking.
The grouting in the bathroom is tired and no amount of cleaning will fix it now. Waiting forty seconds for the lift each time adds up when you go back for a jumper.

Deeply disappointing
It is close to Ta Prohm, and that is the whole of the good news.
The bed linen was stained. We asked for it to be changed and waited until nearly half past nine that night. We were charged a cleaning fee that was not in the booking and had to argue to get it back. The heating did not work properly for the first two nights and the fix took until the third day.

Good location, average room
Would come back tomorrow. Clean and tidy throughout the stay. They let us sit in the courtyard with our own wine on the last night.
Bin lorry at about seven on the Sunday, and we heard every bottle.
