A desk of a usable size, a proper chair and sockets where you need them.
There is construction across the street that starts at half past six, so bring earplugs. Wifi drops in the far rooms, so I took calls in the lobby.

Handy for Big Ben
Long weekend, first time in Soho. In at eleven at night, out at six, and everything worked. That is all I need. Nadia on reception had me checked in inside three minutes and drew a map of the area on the spot.
The walk back from Big Ben is all uphill, which I had not thought about.

Passable, at a push
A bell rings somewhere nearby on the hour and I stopped noticing it by the second day. Reasonably peaceful at the back of the building. The Superior Twin Room is well organised and everything has somewhere to go. Practical base near the offices, and the checkout was quick at seven in the morning.
Breakfast is the same every day, which by the second morning I had noticed.

Nobody made me feel odd about eating alone, and the desk checked I had got back on the wet night.
I was reminded about the half past ten checkout twice on the Thursday, which felt unnecessary.

Fine for a work trip: quiet floor, quick breakfast, cab rank outside.
The furniture is dated and the corridors could do with a repaint. The mattress dips in the middle, which after three nights you notice.
