Several things went wrong
The flat is at least well laid out for the size.
The furniture is dated and the corridors could do with a repaint. The hot water failed on the first morning and was still off when I left.

The address is the best thing about it
Mixed feelings about this one. Feels like a real home rather than a rental, which we prefer.
Traffic on the main road carries to the front rooms until well past midnight. The heating is on a timer and goes off at about eleven, which in December you feel by morning.

Handy, if a little dated
The view over the rooftops from the balcony is a proper one. Parking is available and reasonably priced for the area.
The shower door leaks a little onto the bathroom floor.

Passable, at a push
There is a coffee machine in the room, which saved us a few euros a day. Kitchen is well enough equipped for simple cooking. Location is the strong point - ten minutes to Bukchon Hanok Village and a metro stop close by.
Hot water was slow to arrive on the third floor first thing.

Pleasant but noisy at night
Long weekend, first time in Insadong. Feels like a real home rather than a rental, which I prefer.
The walk back from Bukhansan is all uphill, which I had not thought about.

Would book again on price
Check-in was straightforward and the desk answered questions properly. Two bus routes and a tram stop within a few minutes, so we got around easily. The view over the rooftops from the balcony is a proper one.
The city tax and the cleaning fee together came as a surprise at checkout.
