Lovely, if you don't mind stairs
Turned up late, tired and grumpy, and were looked after. Late nights out and nobody once tutted at us coming in at three. The neighbour opposite waters her balcony at seven every morning and says hello.
We were reminded about the half past ten checkout twice on the Saturday, which felt unnecessary.

Needs a proper refurbishment
They lent me an umbrella on the wet Tuesday and did not ask for it back until I left. Plenty of places to eat within a short walk, most of them reasonably priced.
Everything on site is priced for people not counting, from the water to the laundry. Housekeeping missed me entirely on the Monday.

Fine for a couple of nights
Three rooms on the same floor, which saved a lot of shouting up stairwells.
Traffic on the main road carries to the front rooms until well past midnight.

Very good, minor niggles
Bukit Bintang has that mix of locals and visitors that makes a place feel alive rather than staged. Self check-in with a code, clear instructions, and I was inside two minutes after the taxi left.
Loading and unloading outside is awkward on a street that narrow.

Left early
The bed itself was comfortable. Everything around it was not. They did refund the second night without arguing, so credit for that.
I do not enjoy writing reviews like this one. Noise from the bar downstairs went on past two every night and the walls do nothing. The bed linen was stained. We asked for it to be changed and waited until nearly ten that night. The room smelled strongly of damp and the window did not open to air it out. Building work started at quarter past seven each morning and nobody had warned us at booking.

Nice staff, tired building
Two nights, and two would have been plenty; the front door code worked every time, which sounds like a low bar until you have stayed somewhere it did not. The view over the rooftops from the balcony is a proper one.
The mattress dips in the middle, which after four nights you notice.
