Unhappy from check-in to check-out
Honestly, very little. I was out from early until late to avoid being in the Deluxe King Room.
I was given a different room from the one I booked, smaller and facing the bins, with no adjustment to the price. The bed linen was stained. I asked for it to be changed and waited until nearly half past ten that night. The hot water failed on the first morning and was still off when I left.

Falls well short
Booked on the photographs, which was my mistake. A washing machine in the flat, which halfway through a long trip is a real thing.
Housekeeping missed us entirely on the Sunday.

Genuinely poor
They did refund the second night without arguing, so credit for that.
The kitchen was missing most of what you would need to cook, despite the listing. The photographs show a refurbished room. Ours was not one of them, and the carpet was visibly worn through.

Underwhelmed but not unhappy
Easy place to stay on your own, and the area is fine to walk at night. The Junior Suite is well organised and everything has somewhere to go.
Pillows are enormous and there is no alternative on offer.

Fine, and fine is enough
Breakfast is solid rather than lavish - proper pastries and reliable coffee. They lent me an umbrella on the wet Tuesday and did not ask for it back until I left.
The mattress dips in the middle, which after two nights you notice.

Would look elsewhere next time
Booked on the photographs, which was my mistake. They let us sit in the courtyard with our own wine on the last night. Hoan Kiem is pleasant to wander in the evening, and nothing felt far.
The keycards demagnetised twice and we had to go back down to the desk.
