The address is the best thing about it
Practical base near the offices, and the checkout was quick at seven in the morning. The room was cleaned properly every day and the bins were never left. Breakfast is solid rather than lavish - honey from the market and reliable coffee.
Scaffolding went up on the building opposite halfway through our stay. It is showing its age in places - a chipped door frame here, a tired carpet there.

Beat our expectations
Straight to it: the location is the thing. Hard to beat the position: Bukhansan one way, the market the other, and no need for a taxi all week. Washer and a drying rack, so we travelled home with a clean bag. Not a mark anywhere, and the room smelled of nothing at all, which is exactly right.
The walk back to the station on the Wednesday, and that is scraping.

Would look elsewhere next time
The concierge was helpful with tickets and directions. They let us sit in the courtyard with our own wine on the last night. The rate held steady when we added a night, which we appreciated.
The Deluxe King Room is smaller than the photographs suggest - two open cases will not fit on the floor. The mattress dips in the middle, which after five nights you notice.

Booked this on a whim and glad we did. Late nights out and nobody once tutted at us coming in at three.
Hot water was slow to arrive on the fourth floor first thing.
