No complaints, no fireworks
Fair value for Mexico City prices, particularly in high season. Somebody had left a shelf of paperbacks by the window and I got through two of them.
Pillows are enormous and there is no alternative on offer.

Hard to recommend at this rate
Parking is available and reasonably priced for the area. A washing machine in the flat, which halfway through a long trip is a real thing.
Breakfast stops at half past ten even at weekends, which felt early.

Does the important things well
Room service arrived in fifteen minutes at half past ten, which is why I book here. Elke at the concierge desk got me a table at a place that had told me it was fully booked. Centro Histórico turned out to be exactly the right call - everything I had pinned was walkable.
Checkout is nine and a late one costs about as much as another night's breakfast. It is uphill from the metro, which you feel with the suitcases in the heat.

You step out of the door and you are already somewhere worth being. No faff with the room: dark, cool and quiet by ten.

No surprises, good or bad
Quiet from about ten at night, once the bar downstairs empties out. There is a coffee machine in the room, which saved me a few euros a day.
The bathroom fan runs for ten minutes after you leave and is loud.
