Somewhere between fine and not
The terrace is a good place to sit with a book in the late afternoon.
The grouting in the bathroom is tired and no amount of cleaning will fix it now. It is a good eight minutes from the nearest tram stop, further than the listing suggests.

The address is the best thing about it
Wifi was quick enough for email, maps and an evening of streaming. Charming small hotel, and the tiling lifts it above the usual.
It is showing its age in places - a chipped door frame here, a tired carpet there.

Comfortable, quiet, well placed
The bathroom is bigger than the one at home, with a rain shower and a bench to put things on. Room service arrived in fifteen minutes at half past ten, which is why I book here. Paulo sorted a late checkout on the last day without us even having to push for it.
Coffee at breakfast comes from a machine rather than the bar downstairs, which is a shame.

Better than the photographs
A real desk with a real chair and a socket at elbow height - somebody has actually worked in a hotel room before. Four of us across two rooms on the same corridor, which they arranged without being asked.
Nothing - we have already looked at dates for next year.

Good location, mixed stay
Charming small hotel, and the fabrics lifts it above the usual. Wifi was quick enough for email, maps and an evening of streaming.
Housekeeping missed us entirely on the Tuesday. Scaffolding went up on the building opposite halfway through our stay.

Breakfast is worth getting up for: almond croissants, the espresso made to order and fruit that tasted of something.
Checkout at ten is early when you have an evening flight.
