Tired and overpriced
Wanted to like it more than we did. They let us sit in the courtyard with our own wine on the last night. They keep a jar of sweets by the lift that nobody admits to eating from.
Waiting forty seconds for the lift each time adds up when you go back for a jumper.

Fine for a couple of nights
Charming small hotel, and the fabrics lifts it above the usual. There is a lift, which we were glad of on the way up with my rucksack. You get more for the money here than at the two places we priced up in KLCC.
The restaurant is fine but you would not choose it if you were not already staying there.

Falls well short
The terrace is a good place to sit with a book in the late afternoon.
Footsteps from the floor above from around half past six each morning. The sofa bed in the Cosy Room is not somewhere you would want a second week.

Location good, room less so
Fine, with caveats. Three rooms on the same floor, which saved a lot of shouting up stairwells. Plenty of places to eat within a short walk, most of them reasonably priced.
The radiator clanked from about six every morning.

Good location, average room
Turned up late, tired and grumpy, and were looked after. Charming small hotel, and the old terrazzo floor lifts it above the usual. The rate held steady when we added a night, which we appreciated.
The wall to the corridor carries every conversation, and there was one at ten on the Tuesday.

Location carries it
There is a good market on Saturday about seven minutes away that nobody had told me about. Clean bed linen, clean towels, clean floors. That is the main thing.
Thin walls, so I knew a fair amount about my neighbours and their travel plans.
