Room for improvement
Lovely for a couple of nights away, quiet and personal. We slept well: the room is dark, cool and quiet after ten.
Parking nearby is expensive, though that is Zurich rather than the hotel.

Half worked, half didn't
The radiator clanked at about two in the morning and then settled down, and honestly we grew fond of it. Lovely for a couple of nights away, quiet and personal; quiet from about ten at night, once the bar downstairs empties out.
It needs a refurbishment rather than another coat of paint, and the price has not caught up with that.

Does the job
The Suite is well organised and everything has somewhere to go. They keep a pillow menu at reception and actually bring what you ask for. Charming small hotel, and the joinery lifts it above the usual.
Thin walls, so we knew a fair amount about our neighbours and their travel plans. The shower takes a good minute to warm up, which adds up over four days.

Does the important things well
Right, so. Late nights out and nobody once tutted at us coming in at three.
No kettle in the room, which for a British guest is practically a design flaw. The shower door leaks a little onto the bathroom floor.

Lovely, if you don't mind stairs
Long weekend, first time in Kreis 4. A proper coffee machine in the room, not sachets of dust.
Loading and unloading outside is awkward on a street that narrow.
