Marta on the desk was kind about it, which is more than the place deserves.
The fridge in the Cosy Room had somebody else's food in it. Wifi dropped out constantly, which mattered because I was working.

Worked well for a group of us, with somewhere to sit together in the evening.
The city tax and the cleaning fee together came as a surprise at checkout.

Lovely for a couple of nights away, quiet and personal.
Nowhere to put anything in the bathroom except the edge of the basin.

I ran two client calls from the desk and the room was quiet enough that nobody asked where I was. Kreis 5 Züri-West turned out to be exactly the right call - everything we had pinned was walkable. Underfloor heating in the bathroom in November is a small luxury that we noticed every morning.
We were reminded about the ten checkout twice on the Monday, which felt unnecessary.

9.9Worth every penny and then some
Straight to it: the location is the thing. Free bikes turned a good stay into a great one - I rode along the canal both days. Nobody made me feel odd about eating alone, and the desk checked I had got back on the wet night.
A second bedside lamp and a couple more sockets would finish the room off.
