Better than the photographs
Travelling on my own, I never felt uneasy walking back into Temple Bar late at night - I forgot it was a public holiday and they sorted me a table anyway.

Better than the street suggests
We nearly booked somewhere flashier and I am glad we did not. Room service arrived in fifteen minutes at half past ten, which is why I book here. Not a mark anywhere, and the room smelled of nothing at all, which is exactly right.

Would stay again at that price
Breakfast is solid rather than lavish - a cheese and ham plate and reliable coffee. Good for a few nights alone - I was left to get on with it. The room was cleaned properly every day and the bins were never left.
Breakfast is the same every day, which by the third morning I had noticed.

Left slightly deflated
The terrace is a good place to sit with a book in the late afternoon. The view over the rooftops from the balcony is a proper one.
It is a good eight minutes from the nearest tram stop, further than the listing suggests. Towels are changed only on request, which is sensible but was not explained.

Better on price than polish
Long weekend, first time in Temple Bar. Breakfast is solid rather than lavish - fresh figs and yoghurt and reliable coffee. The Signature Room is well organised and everything has somewhere to go. Charming small hotel, and the joinery lifts it above the usual.
One person on the desk at ten in the evening means a queue when the airport bus arrives.
