Book it and stop looking
the coffee in the lobby is free all day and genuinely good. Worth every penny, and I do not say that often.
The walk back to the station on the Saturday, and that is scraping.

Would give it less if I could
The building is beautiful from the outside.
The lift was out of order the whole week and there is no sign of it being fixed. Nobody was on the desk for long stretches, so I stood in the lobby with the cases for ten minutes at check-in. Service ranged from warm to indifferent depending on who was working.

Late nights out and nobody once tutted at us coming in at three. The restaurant does a short menu properly rather than a long one badly.
Only one socket by the bed, and the switch for it is behind the headboard.

Mixed, mostly good
Booked this on a whim and glad we did. Somebody had left a shelf of paperbacks by the window and I got through two of them. our youngest were happy, which is most of the review.
The bathroom is clean but the fittings belong to a previous decade.

Better than the price suggests
Long weekend, first time in Oerlikon. My flight landed at one in the morning and the man on the desk still made me a tea. Breakfast is worth getting up for: almond croissants, the espresso made to order and fruit that tasted of something. In September you need the aircon to work properly, and here it does. Marta at the concierge desk got me a table at a place that had told me it was fully booked.
Check-in is not until four and there is nowhere comfortable to wait.
