8.7Good value for Mid-Beach
Nothing was too much trouble - a spare adapter, a table booking, a taxi at dawn. In at eleven at night, out at six, and everything worked. That is all I need.
We had to be out by half past ten on the last day, and that is genuinely the worst of it.

Three rooms on the same floor, which saved a lot of shouting up stairwells. The lift has one of those inner doors you have to pull shut, which the children opposite treated as the highlight of their week.
Roadworks on the corner from seven on the Wednesday, and nobody had warned us.

Efficient and predictable, which is what a two-night work trip needs.
Loading and unloading outside is awkward on a street that narrow. The shower head is fixed high on the wall and cannot be angled.

Late nights out and nobody once tutted at us coming in at three; walking back from Ocean Drive after dinner took seven minutes and never once felt like a trek.
Checkout at ten is early when you have an evening flight.

6.5Not quite worth it
Some of this worked, some of it did not. A desk of a usable size, a proper chair and sockets where you need them. Efficient and predictable, which is what a two-night work trip needs.
