Worth it for Karaköy
Once you get the knack of the stove it keeps the place warm all night.
The bathroom is clean but the fittings belong to a previous decade.

Would stay again at that price
Turned up late, tired and grumpy, and were looked after. Wifi was quick enough for email, maps and an evening of streaming. Simple and very quiet, which is what we came for.
Dust on the top of the wardrobe and behind the door, which we noticed on the third day.

Best breakfast of the trip
Not fancy, but that was never the point. No neighbours, no traffic, and a sky at night that made the drive worth it. Two nights in and we were sleeping through until eight, which never happens for us.
The bathroom light is on a motion sensor and comes on if you turn over in bed.

Better options in Karaköy
Easy place to be a group without annoying anyone.
The window seals are not what they could be and Karaköy is not a silent neighbourhood.

No complaints, no fireworks
Kitchen is well enough equipped for simple cooking.
Nobody was on the desk for about twenty minutes when we arrived on the Thursday.

Rare to get it all right
For what we paid in September, this was the best value stay of the trip by a distance. There is a bakery two doors down that opens at six, which we discovered by accident on the first morning.
Nothing that would stop us booking again tomorrow.
