Mixed, mostly good
You get more for the money here than at the two places we priced up in Jabal Al-Weibdeh. Clean bed linen, clean towels, clean floors. That is the main thing.
Checkout is ten and a late one costs about as much as another night's breakfast.

Tired and overpriced
Quiet from about ten at night, once the bar downstairs empties out. Kitchen is well enough equipped for simple cooking.
The connection slowed to nothing each evening from about nine, when the place fills up.

Not terrible, not memorable
Our taxi driver could not find the entrance and drove past it twice, so save the map pin - clean bed linen, clean towels, clean floors. That is the main thing.
The shower door leaks a little onto the bathroom floor. The furniture is dated and the corridors could do with a repaint.

Cannot recommend it
Kitchen is well enough equipped for simple cooking. They let us sit in the courtyard with our own wine on the last night.
Housekeeping missed us entirely on the Friday. The staircase is narrow and steep, so allow a minute or two more than you think.

Disappointing, sadly
Feels like a real home rather than a rental, which we prefer.
Scaffolding went up on the building opposite halfway through our stay. Thin walls, so we knew a fair amount about our neighbours and their travel plans.

Good location, mixed stay
Two nights, and two would have been plenty. Straightforward self check-in and a well-equipped flat.
No screens on the windows, so it is a choice between the heat and the mosquitoes. The bathroom is clean but the fittings belong to a previous decade.
