The flat is at least well laid out for the size.
Street noise at the front until the bars close - ask for a room over the courtyard. The grouting in the bathroom is tired and no amount of cleaning will fix it now.

Happy we booked it
We nearly booked somewhere flashier and I am glad we did not. Oil, salt, coffee and a corkscrew already there - whoever set this up has actually travelled. Living like a resident rather than a guest for a week: market, kitchen, balcony, repeat.
Blackout blinds would make a difference in November, when it is bright by half past six.

Hard to recommend at this rate
Straightforward self check-in and a well-equipped flat. Clean bed linen, clean towels, clean floors. That is the main thing.
Aircon only runs when the balcony door is properly shut, and the catch is temperamental. The stairwell light is on a timer that runs out halfway up.

Not terrible, not memorable
Booked on the photographs, which was my mistake. Feels like a real home rather than a rental, which we prefer.
Everything on site is priced for people not counting, from the water to the laundry. The walk back from Bondi Beach is all uphill, which we had not thought about.

Underwhelmed but not unhappy
Booked on the photographs, which was my mistake. Clean and tidy throughout the stay. There is a coffee machine in the room, which saved me a few euros a day. Feels like a real home rather than a rental, which I prefer.
Bin lorry at about six on the Saturday, and I heard every bottle. The shower door leaks a little onto the bathroom floor.

There is a lift, which I was glad of on the way up with the suitcases.
Aircon only runs when the balcony door is properly shut, and the catch is temperamental. The bed is too firm for me - I ended up putting the spare duvet under the sheet.
