Feels like a real home rather than a rental, which we prefer.
Getting a taxi to find the entrance took some explaining.

Feels like a real home rather than a rental, which we prefer. Hiroshi at the desk was the standout - patient and genuinely useful.
The extractor does not cope, so the mirror is useless after the first shower.

I am fussy about where I sleep. The room was cleaned properly every day and the bins were never left - there is a good market on Saturday about seven minutes away that nobody had told me about.
Street parking is free after nine and impossible before it.

Cooking from the market two streets away was half the pleasure of the week.
There is no fridge in the room, so the wine we bought stayed warm.

9.1Lovely staff, lovely building
Short version: yes. We ended up in the same corner cafe three mornings running, which tells you something about Giza. We forgot it was a public holiday and they sorted us a table anyway. The wifi held up through a two-hour video call without a single drop.
The car park is a ten-minute walk and costs more per night than we expected.
