Restful and central
Booked late and got lucky. Worth every penny, and I do not say that often. A proper coffee machine in the room, not sachets of dust. The bathroom is bigger than the one at home, with a rain shower and a bench to put things on.
Check-in is not until four and there is nowhere comfortable to wait.

Decent, with reservations
Clean bed linen, clean towels, clean floors. That is the main thing. Somebody had left a shelf of paperbacks by the window and I got through two of them.
You hear the door of the room next to you every time it shuts. The bathroom light is on a motion sensor and comes on if you turn over in bed.

Genuinely special
Living like a resident rather than a guest for a week: market, kitchen, balcony, repeat.
Checkout is nine and a late one costs about as much as another night's breakfast.

Nothing to complain about, nothing to rave about
Would come back tomorrow. Location is the strong point - ten minutes to Qorikancha and a metro stop close by. Feels like a real home rather than a rental, which we prefer. There is a coffee machine in the room, which saved us a few euros a day.
The connection slowed to nothing each evening from about ten, when the place fills up.
