Charming and spotless
A proper coffee machine in the room, not sachets of dust. For Santorini, this is a properly central spot without the coach parties. Homemade cake at four in the afternoon, whether or not you asked for it.
Nothing that would stop us booking again tomorrow.

Good for a few nights alone - I was left to get on with it.
The wall to the corridor carries every conversation, and there was one at ten on the Saturday.

Nothing worked as advertised
Cheap, and now I understand why; the morning coffee was fine, which is a thin thing to end on.
The fridge in the Family Suite had somebody else's food in it. We were charged a cleaning fee that was not in the booking and had to argue to get it back. Cleanliness was not what it should be - we found the previous guest's earring under the bed.

Easy to recommend
Short version: yes. Fast, stable wifi in the room rather than only in the lobby, which is rarer than it should be. For what we paid in August, this was the best value stay of the trip by a distance. Petra sat with us over a map on the first evening and half our trip came out of that conversation. The bed was the surprise: firm, wide and made up with linen that actually felt like linen.
Coffee at breakfast comes from a machine rather than the bar downstairs, which is a shame. The keycards demagnetised twice and we had to go back down to the desk.

Fine for a couple of nights
Good position overall, and I walked most places rather than paying for cabs. There is a good market on Saturday about twenty minutes away that nobody had told me about.
The bathroom light is on a motion sensor and comes on if you turn over in bed. The city tax and the cleaning fee together came as a surprise at checkout.

The lowest point of the trip
It is close to Fira Caldera Path, and that is the whole of the good news.
We complained twice on site, so this is not a surprise to them. We were given a different room from the one we booked, smaller and facing the bins, with no adjustment to the price. The Family Suite had not been cleaned properly: hair in the shower tray and dust along every skirting board. The heating did not come on for the whole stay and it was June. The room we were given was not the one we booked and it took five conversations to be moved.
