Would book again on price
The rate held steady when we added a night, which we appreciated.
We were reminded about the ten checkout twice on the Monday, which felt unnecessary.

Sound choice near Trevi Fountain
The owners are kind and the breakfast is homemade, which counts for a lot. Testaccio is a sensible base, a few streets back from the crowds and still close to everything.
It is uphill from the metro, which you feel with my rucksack in the heat.

Spoiled us completely
Cheaper than the chain hotels two streets over and considerably nicer. The lift has one of those inner doors you have to pull shut, which the children opposite treated as the highlight of their week.
Only that we had to leave.

No complaints, no fireworks
Right, so. The owners are kind and the breakfast is homemade, which counts for a lot. We slept well: the room is dark, cool and quiet after ten. Connection was good enough to work from for a morning.
The bed is too firm for us - we ended up putting the spare duvet under the sheet.

Half worked, half didn't
Breakfast is solid rather than lavish - proper pastries and reliable coffee. The Twin Room is well organised and everything has somewhere to go.
Hot water was slow to arrive on the second floor first thing. You cannot set the aircon below twenty-three, which in October is not quite enough.

The address is the best thing about it
Testaccio is a sensible base, a few streets back from the crowds and still close to everything - parking is available and reasonably priced for the area. The owners are kind and the breakfast is homemade, which counts for a lot.
Nobody was on the desk for about ten minutes when we arrived on the Thursday. Towels are changed only on request, which is sensible but was not explained.
