Frustrating from the start
Breakfast was fine, and the coffee was better than expected. They lent me an umbrella on the wet Tuesday and did not ask for it back until I left.
For the money I expected a little more attention to detail. Delivery vans start up under the window from around six.

Would think twice
The stairs creak in a way that is either charming or annoying depending on how tired you are. You get more for the money here than at the two places we priced up in Firostefani.
The carpet on the sixth floor is due for replacing. The grouting in the bathroom is tired and no amount of cleaning will fix it now.

One to avoid at this price
The concierge was helpful with tickets and directions; there is a lift, which we were glad of on the way up with the cases.
The carpet on the second floor is due for replacing. Housekeeping missed us entirely on the Thursday.

Right, so. Clean and tidy throughout the stay.
Checkout is nine and a late one costs about as much as another night's breakfast.

Comfortable enough for three nights
Three rooms on the same floor, which saved a lot of shouting up stairwells. Firostefani is pleasant to wander in the evening, and nothing felt far.
There is no fridge in the room, so the wine we bought stayed warm.

Clean and quiet, close to everything
They kept the cases until the evening flight and even brought them down to the taxi. We arrived hours early and they took our bags without a fuss, then messaged when the room was ready. Washer and a drying rack, so we travelled home with a clean bag.
The bathroom light is on a motion sensor and comes on if you turn over in bed.
