One night too many
Fine, with caveats; the Superior Twin Room is well organised and everything has somewhere to go. My taxi driver could not find the entrance and drove past it twice, so save the map pin.
The carpet on the sixth floor is due for replacing.

Worked well for a group of us, with somewhere to sit together in the evening.
The restaurant is fine but you would not choose it if you were not already staying there.

The one to book in District V Belváros
District V Belváros has that mix of locals and visitors that makes a place feel alive rather than staged. Travelling on my own, I never felt uneasy walking back into District V Belváros late at night. The restaurant does a short menu properly rather than a long one badly.

Better than the street suggests
Short version: yes. Proper shower pressure and hot water immediately, not after a minute of hoping. Parking on site and free, which in Budapest saved us more than the room rate difference.
Street parking is free after nine and impossible before it.

Efficient and predictable, which is what a two-night work trip needs.
Bin lorry at about eight on the Monday, and I heard every bottle.

Nothing like the listing
Honestly, very little. We were out from early until late to avoid being in the Superior Twin Room.
Housekeeping did not come at all in two nights and we asked for towels twice. Noise from the bar downstairs went on past two every night and the walls do nothing.
