Not quite worth it
The room was cleaned properly every day and the bins were never left; the bathroom is cleverly laid out and the shower is hot and fast. You get more for the money here than at the two places we priced up in Shibuya.
The bathroom fan runs for forty minutes after you leave and is loud. No kettle in the room, which for a British guest is practically a design flaw.

Better than the photographs
Cheaper than the chain hotels two streets over and considerably nicer. Late nights out and nobody once tutted at us coming in at three.

Expected far more
Check-in itself was quick enough. Room was warm enough in November, which was the main worry.
Traffic on the main road carries to the front rooms until well past midnight. Wifi drops in the far rooms, so I took calls in the lobby.

Does the important things well
Housekeeping were quietly excellent and clearly took pride in the rooms. Somebody on the desk at three in the morning when our flight finally landed, still cheerful. Shibuya turned out to be exactly the right call - everything we had pinned was walkable.
A second bedside lamp and a couple more sockets would finish the room off. One small lift for two floors - fine unless everyone checks out at once.

Left a night early
Wifi was quick enough for email, maps and an evening of streaming.
The connection slowed to nothing each evening from about half past ten, when the place fills up.
