Comfortable, quiet, well placed
The building is residential, so the stairwell smells of somebody's dinner rather than air freshener. The flat is bigger than the photographs suggest and cleverly laid out. Firm mattress, which suits me, and a duvet that is not the usual thin thing.
Checkout at half past ten is early when you have an evening flight. One person on the desk at half past ten in the evening means a queue when the airport bus arrives.

Reliable rather than exciting
Booked this on a whim and glad we did. Location is the strong point - twenty-five minutes to Shibuya Crossing and a metro stop close by. Feels like a real home rather than a rental, which we prefer.
The bathroom fan runs for twenty-five minutes after you leave and is loud.

Better in the photos
Fine, with caveats. The view over the rooftops from the balcony is a proper one - plenty of places to eat within a short walk, most of them reasonably priced. Straightforward self check-in and a well-equipped flat.
A second bedside lamp and a couple more sockets would finish the room off.

Some good, some frustrating
Straightforward self check-in and a well-equipped flat.
Thin walls, so we knew a fair amount about our neighbours and their travel plans. Roadworks on the corner from half past seven on the Tuesday, and nobody had warned us.

Easy to recommend
Spotless, including the places nobody checks - skirting boards, the kettle, under the bed. Cheaper than the chain hotels two streets over and considerably nicer. The lift has one of those inner doors you have to pull shut, which the children opposite treated as the highlight of their week. Coffee on the balcony first thing, watching Roppongi wake up. Worth the upgrade.
The lift is slow enough that we walked down from the second floor most days.
