One night too many
Kitchen is well enough equipped for simple cooking. The lift has one of those inner doors you have to pull shut, which the children opposite treated as the highlight of their week.
There is a bar on the corner that empties out noisily on a Friday night.

A find
Proper shower pressure and hot water immediately, not after a minute of hoping. Living like a resident rather than a guest for a week: market, kitchen, balcony, repeat.
The last two hundred metres are steep and cobbled - not a problem, just plan for it.

Needs a proper refurbishment
Two nights, and two would have been plenty. It is priced sensibly, and that counts for something.
The heating did not work properly for the first three nights and the fix took until the first day. Thin walls, so we knew a fair amount about our neighbours and their travel plans.

Asked for a refund
They did refund the second night without arguing, so credit for that.
I would have moved out on the first night if anything else had been free. We reported a broken shower on arrival and it was still broken when we left two days later. The lift was out of order the whole week and there is no sign of it being fixed. The room smelled strongly of damp and the window did not open to air it out.

Fine, and fine is enough
They keep a jar of sweets by the lift that nobody admits to eating from. Connection was good enough to work from for a morning. Nobody blinked at a table for one, which is not true everywhere.
It is showing its age in places - a chipped door frame here, a tired carpet there.

Some good, some frustrating
Feels like a real home rather than a rental, which we prefer. The flat is well organised and everything has somewhere to go. The front door code worked every time, which sounds like a low bar until you have stayed somewhere it did not.
The staircase is narrow and steep, so allow a minute or two more than you think. Bin lorry at about eight on the Friday, and we heard every bottle.
