8.0Handy, if a little dated
Firm mattress, which is exactly how we like it. We forgot it was a public holiday and they sorted us a table anyway.
There is no fridge in the room, so the wine we bought stayed warm. For the money we expected a little more attention to detail.

9.2Very good, minor niggles
The building is residential, so the stairwell smells of somebody's dinner rather than air freshener.
The bathroom light is on a motion sensor and comes on if you turn over in bed. No full-length mirror anywhere in the flat.

Someone has planted herbs in pots by the door and you are clearly meant to use them. They keep a pillow menu at reception and actually bring what you ask for.
The curtains do not quite meet in the middle, so you are up with the light.

Comfortable bed, and they brought firmer pillows within ten minutes of asking. Straightforward self check-in and a well-equipped flat.
Loading and unloading outside is awkward on a street that narrow.

9.1Clean and quiet, close to everything
the flat whites in the lobby is free all day and genuinely good. Not a mark anywhere, and the room smelled of nothing at all, which is exactly right.
Mosquitoes in the evening once the doors are open - the shop on the corner sells the plug-ins.

7.1Hard to recommend at this rate
Two nights, and two would have been plenty. Feels like a real home rather than a rental, which we prefer.
A second bedside lamp and a couple more sockets would finish the room off. Scaffolding went up on the building opposite halfway through our stay.
