Nice staff, tired building
Straightforward self check-in and a well-equipped flat.
The bathroom is clean but the fittings belong to a previous decade. The aircon unit drips onto the balcony floor, which we mentioned on the Saturday.

Fine, and fine is enough
Third time in Buenos Aires and the first time I have got the hotel right. Straightforward self check-in and a well-equipped flat. Room was warm enough in December, which was the main worry.
One radiator for the whole room, and in December that is not quite enough.

Small room, great location
Living like a resident rather than a guest for a week: market, kitchen, balcony, repeat. Astonishingly quiet for somewhere this central - I never heard the street once.

Would book again tomorrow
Not fancy, but that was never the point. The view from the balcony is not a marketing photograph - it is genuinely that. Astonishingly quiet for somewhere this central - we never heard the street once. The building is residential, so the stairwell smells of somebody's dinner rather than air freshener. We upgraded to the flat and would do it again without thinking.
That we booked only four nights.

Nothing to complain about, nothing to rave about
Feels like a real home rather than a rental, which I prefer. Location is the strong point - ten minutes to Teatro Colón and a metro stop close by. A washing machine in the flat, which halfway through a long trip is a real thing. There is a lift, which I was glad of on the way up with the cases.
The heating is on a timer and goes off at about half past ten, which in November you feel by morning.

Good spot, tired rooms
The view over the rooftops from the balcony is a proper one. There is a good market on Saturday about five minutes away that nobody had told us about. Feels like a real home rather than a rental, which we prefer.
The heating did not work properly for the first four nights and the fix took until the last day.
