Fine if you're out all day
Came for two nights, stayed four. A washing machine in the flat, which halfway through a long trip is a real thing. Easy place to be a group without annoying anyone. Plenty of places to eat within a short walk, most of them reasonably priced.
Everything on site is priced for people not counting, from the water to the laundry.

Very happy indeed
Self check-in with a code, clear instructions, and we were inside two minutes after the taxi left. Lift straight from the street to the floor, so the suitcases were never a problem; we booked for three nights and extended to five, which tells you what we thought of the price.
One small lift for three floors - fine unless everyone checks out at once.

Charming and spotless
Came for two nights, stayed four. For what we paid in October, this was the best value stay of the trip by a distance. Four of us across two rooms on the same corridor, which they arranged without being asked.

Nice staff, tired building
The view over the rooftops from the balcony is a proper one.
The extractor does not cope, so the mirror is useless after the first shower. Nobody told us the restaurant was closed for the week until we turned up hungry on the Sunday.

Better options in V&A Waterfront
Not a disaster, just not what we expected. Three rooms on the same floor, which saved a lot of shouting up stairwells.
There is construction across the street that starts at six, so bring earplugs. The bathroom fan runs for forty minutes after you leave and is loud.

Clean and quiet, close to everything
Short version: yes. Check-in was quick and human, and they remembered our names for the rest of the stay. Living like a resident rather than a guest for a week: market, kitchen, balcony, repeat. The courtyard rooms hear nothing but pigeons, which is the whole point. Cheaper than the chain hotels two streets over and considerably nicer.
The curtains do not quite meet in the middle, so you are up with the light.
