Mixed, mostly good
Beverly Hills is pleasant to wander in the evening, and nothing felt far. Lovely for a couple of nights away, quiet and personal.
The bed is too firm for us - we ended up putting the spare duvet under the sheet.

Small place, big heart
They cook eggs how you ask and the bread comes from the bakery opposite, still warm. The bathroom is bigger than the one at home, with a rain shower and a bench to put things on.
Nothing at all, and we looked.

Friendly and well run
We are fussy about where we sleep. Four of us across two rooms on the same corridor, which they arranged without being asked. We are not usually breakfast people and we went down every morning.

Pleasant but noisy at night
Not fancy, but that was never the point. Pleasant bar for a nightcap, and they do not rush you out of it. Practical base near the offices, and the checkout was quick at seven in the morning.
The heating is on a timer and goes off at about ten, which in November you feel by morning. The Suite is smaller than the photographs suggest - two open cases will not fit on the floor.

Location good, room less so
Fine, with caveats. Easy place to be a group without annoying anyone. Bikes to borrow, which we used on both mornings.
The bathroom light is on a motion sensor and comes on if you turn over in bed. The desk was stretched thin and it showed - three requests went unanswered.

Badly let down
They did refund the second night without arguing, so credit for that.
We were charged a cleaning fee that was not in the booking and had to argue to get it back. Wifi dropped out constantly, which mattered because I was working. Service ranged from warm to indifferent depending on who was working.
