Would look elsewhere next time
Booked on the photographs, which was my mistake. There is a coffee machine in the room, which saved me a few euros a day. I forgot it was a public holiday and they sorted me a table anyway.
It is a good twelve minutes from the nearest tram stop, further than the listing suggests.

Cannot recommend it
Charming small hotel, and the tiling lifts it above the usual.
The furniture is dated and the corridors could do with a repaint. We were moved rooms on the Wednesday at an hour's notice with no explanation.

Not quite worth it
Bikes to borrow, which we used on both mornings. They let us sit in the courtyard with our own wine on the last night. The terrace is a good place to sit with a book in the late afternoon.
We asked twice about the noise and nothing came of it. The mattress dips in the middle, which after four nights you notice.

Half worked, half didn't
Some of this worked, some of it did not. Plenty of places to eat within a short walk, most of them reasonably priced. The terrace is a good place to sit with a book in the late afternoon.
You cannot set the aircon below twenty-three, which in October is not quite enough.

Nothing like the listing
It is quiet during the day, if that is any use to anyone.
This is the first bad review I have written in years. The heating did not come on for the whole stay and it was September. Breakfast was advertised and included, then turned out to be cereal and instant coffee.
