8.6Friendly and well run
I uploaded a large file from the room in minutes and nobody at the other end noticed I was away. Slept better than at home, which after four flights in a week is saying something. Spot on for a first visit - you can walk out of the door and start.
Parking nearby is expensive, though that is Marrakesh rather than the hotel.

The kettle was already descaled, which is the kind of detail that tells you how a place is run. Warm room, thick curtains and dark afternoons spent reading - exactly what December is for.

10.0Better than the photographs
Travelling on my own, I never felt uneasy walking back into Mellah late at night.
It is uphill from the metro, which you feel with the suitcases in the heat.

7.6Comfortable enough
The bathroom is cleverly laid out and the shower is hot and fast. We slept well: the room is dark, cool and quiet after ten. Clean bed linen, clean towels, clean floors. That is the main thing.
The city tax and the cleaning fee together came as a surprise at checkout. The extractor does not cope, so the mirror is useless after the first shower.

Right, so. Cheaper than the chain hotels two streets over and considerably nicer. Travelling on my own, I never felt uneasy walking back into Mellah late at night. There is a shortcut through the square that saves about five minutes and somebody drew it on my map.
Honestly, nothing.

9.6Quiet room, great coffee
In at eleven at night, out at six, and everything worked. That is all I need. Housekeeping were quietly excellent and clearly took pride in the rooms.
Only one socket by the bed, and the switch for it is behind the headboard.
