Perfect for a long weekend
We nearly booked somewhere flashier and I am glad we did not. Records in the room, a proper armchair and the espresso that would hold up in any city. Double glazing that works, so the tram going past is a rumour rather than an event.
Nothing worth writing here.

Fine, and fine is enough
Fine for a work trip: quiet floor, quick breakfast, cab rank outside.
Housekeeping missed me entirely on the Saturday.

Good from check-in onwards
They kept my rucksack until the evening flight and even brought them down to the taxi. Somebody has thought about the lighting, and it shows in a way photographs do not capture. A proper coffee machine in the room, not sachets of dust.
Nothing, unless you count the taxi driver on the way out.

No complaints, no fireworks
Clean bathroom, fresh towels daily, nothing to complain about.
The curtains do not quite meet in the middle, so you are up with the light.

Comfortable enough
Booked late and got lucky. Easy place to stay on your own, and the area is fine to walk at night.
No lift, and it is four flights with a hard turn at the top. Worth knowing before you book.

Decent, with reservations
Reasonably peaceful at the back of the building. Firm mattress, which is exactly how I like it.
The bathroom fan runs for forty minutes after you leave and is loud.
