The kind of place you book for two nights and immediately regret not booking for four. You step out of the door and you are already somewhere worth being.
Blackout blinds would make a difference in December, when it is bright by eight.

Would come back tomorrow. Worth every penny, and we do not say that often. Samir sorted a late checkout on the last day without us even having to push for it. There is a bakery two doors down that opens at six, which we discovered by accident on the first morning.
Only one socket by the bed, and the switch for it is behind the headboard.

9.5A proper welcome
No faff with the room: dark, cool and quiet by ten. Spotless, including the places nobody checks - skirting boards, the kettle, under the bed. Nobody made me feel odd about eating alone, and the desk checked I had got back on the wet night.
Nothing at all in five nights.

Slept better than at home, which after four flights in a week is saying something; it feels like a house rather than a hotel, and the owners are around without hovering.
The shower door leaks a little onto the bathroom floor.

8.4Great base for Tokyo
Double glazing that works, so the tram going past is a rumour rather than an event. We ended up in the same corner cafe three mornings running, which tells you something about Roppongi.
We were reminded about the nine checkout twice on the Wednesday, which felt unnecessary.

10.0Faultless from start to finish
The roof terrace at sunset is the reason to book this place - I went up every night. Slept better than at home, which after four flights in a week is saying something. I ran two client calls from the desk and the room was quiet enough that nobody asked where I was.
Only the weather, which is hardly their doing.
