Someone has cared about every surface here, from the floor tiles to the reading lights. Guests rate it for linen by local makers and locally roasted coffee in the lobby. The photographs are honest, which is rarer than it should be.

Restful and central
Nobody made me feel odd about eating alone, and the desk checked I had got back on the wet night.
There is no fridge in the room, so the wine I bought stayed warm.

Great base for Mexico City
Breakfast is worth getting up for: fresh figs and yoghurt, the coffee made to order and fruit that tasted of something. Nobody made me feel odd about eating alone, and the desk checked I had got back on the wet night.
Coffee at breakfast comes from a machine rather than the bar downstairs, which is a shame.

Would stay again at that price
Bag storage on the last day was useful. Efficient and predictable, which is what a two-night work trip needs.
The window seals are not what they could be and Juárez is not a silent neighbourhood.

Easy to recommend
Twenty minutes to the conference centre, laundry back same day, invoice correct first time. Spot on for a first visit - you can walk out of the door and start.
The shower door leaks a little onto the bathroom floor.

Worth every penny and then some
Spotless, including the places nobody checks - skirting boards, the kettle, under the bed. Somebody has thought about the lighting, and it shows in a way photographs do not capture.
No. Next question.

Fine for a couple of nights
Pleasant bar for a nightcap, and they do not rush you out of it. Easy place to stay on your own, and the area is fine to walk at night.
The air conditioning rattled on the last night; maintenance swapped a part the next morning.
