Fine, and fine is enough
Charming small hotel, and the lighting lifts it above the usual.
Pillows are enormous and there is no alternative on offer.

Perfect for a long weekend
Nobody made me feel odd about eating alone, and the desk checked I had got back on the wet night.
The shower takes a good minute to warm up, which adds up over two days.

Hard to improve on
They kept the suitcases until the evening flight and even brought them down to the taxi. Room service arrived in fifteen minutes at half past ten, which is why I book here.

Everything we hoped for
Not fancy, but that was never the point. Twenty minutes to the conference centre, laundry back same day, invoice correct first time.
Only that we had to leave.

Clean and quiet, close to everything
There is a bakery two doors down that opens at six, which we discovered by accident on the first morning. Astonishingly quiet for somewhere this central - we never heard the street once. Four of us across two rooms on the same corridor, which they arranged without being asked.
No full-length mirror anywhere in the Suite.

Two nights was enough
Reception were helpful when we needed a doctor's address, which we appreciated. Charming small hotel, and the old terrazzo floor lifts it above the usual. The Cosy Room suited us well for a short stay.
Nowhere to put anything in the bathroom except the edge of the basin.
