9.0Small room, great location
Late nights out and nobody once tutted at us coming in at three.
The shower head is fixed high on the wall and cannot be angled.

9.3Our favourite find in Dubrovnik
I nearly booked somewhere flashier and I am glad I did not. Nobody made me feel odd about eating alone, and the desk checked I had got back on the wet night. Housekeeping were quietly excellent and clearly took pride in the rooms. I uploaded a large file from the room in minutes and nobody at the other end noticed I was away.
Waiting ten seconds for the lift each time adds up when you go back for a jumper.

Not a mark anywhere, and the room smelled of nothing at all, which is exactly right. Late nights out and nobody once tutted at us coming in at three.
The bathroom light is on a motion sensor and comes on if you turn over in bed.

5.0Falls well short
The shower at least was hot. Three rooms on the same floor, which saved a lot of shouting up stairwells.
The grouting in the bathroom is tired and no amount of cleaning will fix it now. Nowhere to put anything in the bathroom except the edge of the basin.

3.2Paid for a hotel, got a building site
Cheap, and now I understand why.
No hot water at all on the first morning, and no warning that the boiler was being worked on. Building work started at eight every morning and nobody mentioned it when I booked.
