Ask for a room at the back
I left a charger behind and it arrived at home nine days later, no charge for the postage. The Bed in 6-bed female dorm is bigger than the photographs suggest and cleverly laid out.
The shower door leaks a little onto the bathroom floor.

The bed was the surprise: firm, wide and made up with linen that actually felt like linen.
Checkout at half past ten is early when you have an evening flight.

Happy we booked it
The view from the balcony is not a marketing photograph - it is genuinely that. Spot on for a first visit - you can walk out of the door and start. The terrace is small but nobody else seems to use it, so it became ours.
The last two hundred metres are steep and cobbled - not a problem, just plan for it.

Decent, with reservations
Location is the strong point - five minutes to Markt and Belfry and a metro stop close by.
Blackout blinds would make a difference in June, when it is bright by eight.

Not terrible, not memorable
Wanted to like it more than we did - someone has planted herbs in pots by the door and you are clearly meant to use them. Good base for a few nights: clean dorm, big lockers, decent kitchen.
The bathroom fan runs for forty minutes after you leave and is loud.
